More Home and Community Care Funding for Fraser Coast |

Federal Member for Wide Bay, Warren Truss, today welcomed the announcement of a funding boost for Fraser Coast Housing Services Inc under the Home and Community Care (HACC) Program.
“HACC services enable frail aged people and young people with disabilities to remain in their own homes with the support of their family," Mr Truss said.
“The majority of elderly people prefer to continue living in the comfort and security of their own homes for as long as possible, and HACC services can provide people with that option, giving them a higher level of independence.”
Fraser Coast Housing Services Inc has been provided with $73,696 that will be used to provide domestic assistance and social support for 7 clients and client care for 35 clients.
The funding will also be used to purchase a motor vehicle, a computer and office supplies.
“This funding will assist Fraser Coast Housing Services Inc to deliver services which maintain and improve the quality of life for older and disabled people on the Fraser Coast.”
