 $12,700 for Cooroy Butter Factory Arts Centre |

Federal Member for Wide Bay, Warren Truss has congratulated the Butter Factory Arts Centre at Cooroy on its successful application for a Community Heritage Grant. Mr Truss said the Centre has been awarded $12,700 for assessments of thirteen volunteer managed heritage collections on the Sunshine Coast. “The grants are provided to assist local communities to preserve cultural heritage collections,” Mr Truss said. “The grants are jointly funded by the National Library of Australia, the Department of the Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts, the National Archives of Australia, the National Film and Sound Archive and the National Museum of Australia.” | |
